It was time to get back to some painting of various pieces and fitting things back together. New bearing where fitted to the wheels and the old sprocket carrier was given a massive clean and touch up along with the oil cooler pipes and the exhaust fittings.
The rear shocks were given a clean and polish to make more presentable.
And new HT leads were made out and mounted on the coil. I then painted up the coil mount and mated the two together.
Forks painted and mounted to the front of the frame.
Rear light fitting cleaned and painted with new mini indicators fitted.
Wheels fitted to the frame and swingarm in place to see how it looks so far together.
It was time to get back to some painting and the front light was painted and the bodywork masked up for the pinstripe. Front calipers masked up and painted also.
This, unfortunately, is where it stopped for the last 4 years, sat in my shed not knowing if the engine would even run after being left outside as not having a shed at the original time of obtaining it. We will get to this in the next section though.
